What started as an essential oil company has blossomed into a popular all-natural hair care line over the last two decades. Calia is a Canadian-based hair-care company that prides itself on its holistic and natural approach.
While their product is certainly everything their customers hope for in all-natural shampoos and conditioners, the design of the bottle is not. As a customer of Calia, I have had the experience of ordering the wrong bottle because the color-coding between formulas was not distinct enough. I also feel that the logo form, color scheme, and label layout do not appeal to the eye in the way that they could. I decided to employ a funkier logo and type mark, brighter brand colors, and a more efficient label design to give the brand more energy and spunk.
